When is the best time to eat the bar?

The Oat Bar is gluten-free, organic and refined with sea salt and chocolate chips. It is particularly suitable for those little cravings for sweets in between or as a small dessert.

What does the cocoa content say about the chocolate?

The higher the cocoa content, the darker and purer the chocolate. That is why the cocoa content in our Oat Bars is 65%.

What does the Fairtrade mark on the product mean?

The quantity of cocoa required, traded and audited as Fairtrade, ensuring cocoa producers receive Fairtrade terms. It may be mixed during processing with non-certified cocoa, so that the total matches the amount sourced as Fairtrade (mass balance). For more information visit info.fairtrade.net/sourcing.

Why do we use coconut blossom sugar?

Coconut blossom sugar is extracted from the blossoms of the coconut palm and is an alternative to white cane sugar. You can use it just like cane sugar. It has the advantage of a particularly pleasant and soft sweetness. Coconut blossom sugar gives your products and dishes a delicious caramel taste. For us, this is one reason why we only use sugar from the coconut blossom in our products.

How do I dispose of the packaging?

For the Oat Bars we use an innovative material mixture based on natural renewable resources. Currently, it is only fully compostable under industrial conditions according to DIN EN 13432, which is why you can't throw the film onto your own garden compost or dispose it in your biowaste. This is incredibly unfortunate, as the film could theoretically be disposed of with the biowaste. I hope that the German disposal system will evolve soon, until then please dispose of the foil in Germany using the "Gelber Sack" (yellow bag). For information on other countries, it is best to contact your local authorities.

Why did I choose this packaging?

I am very happy that we have found packaging options made from renewable materials that do not require fossil fuels for their production. However, we will continue to look for the best possible solutions for you in the future - from content to packaging.
