When is the best time to eat the bar?
The bars have a high protein content. If you want to support your muscles eat the bar after training. But you can also use them to satisfy cravings in between meals.
What is pea protein?
Pea protein is derived from peas and a great vegan alternative to animal protein. Peas are particularly suitable as a vegetable protein source. Pea protein has a high protein content with low fat and carbohydrate content.
What is rice protein?
Rice protein is mainly made from rice or rice bran. It’s a good vegan alternative, just like pea protein. Unlike animal protein, it has the advantage of being hypoallergenic. This means it is easy to digest and therefore suitable for people prone to allergic reactions.
What is rice syrup?
Rice syrup is made from cooked rice. It has less calories than white cane sugar and barely contains any fructose.
What is sunflower protein?
Sunflower protein is an alternative plant protein like soy, with a neutral taste. The powder is made from shelled sunflower seeds.
What does the cocoa content say about the chocolate?
The higher the cocoa content, the darker and purer the chocolate. That is why the cocoa content in our bars is at least 70%.
Is protein only important for building muscles?
Basically, proteins are an important building material in our body. They are found in every cell and every tissue. They also influence our immune defence and hormone regulation, for example. Research shows that both animals and humans only eat until their protein needs are satisfied.Carbohydrates and fats are of secondary importance when it comes to hunger. That's why our bars are great for those little cravings in between meals.
What are cocoa nibs?
These are crushed cocoa beans and thus a very original form of cocoa. They are first peeled and then broken into small pieces. During drying, a chocolaty taste with a tart aroma develops. They assimilate the chocolate flavor, also in terms of the happiness feeling.
What is Carob?
It is a powder made from the bean-like pods of the carob tree. With its aromatic and sweet taste, carob is a great alternative to cocoa. It is also low in fat and high in fiber.
Why do we use coconut blossom sugar?
Coconut blossom sugar is extracted from the blossoms of the coconut palm and is an alternative to white cane sugar. You can use it just like cane sugar. It has the advantage of a particularly pleasant and soft sweetness. Coconut blossom sugar gives your products and dishes a delicious caramel taste. For us, this is one reason why we only use sugar from the coconut blossom in our products.
What's the difference between coconut sugar and coconut syrup?
Coconut syrup has a fine caramel note. The sap of the coconut blossom is tapped and simply boiled down as syrup. The process itself is very sustainable, as the tree is still left with enough resources for coconut production.
