Yes, don't worry about it, that's completely normal! My nut butter has a purposely short list of ingredients and therefore comes without any additives such as binders. To get the perfect taste experience, you can simply take a small spoon and firmly stir once, so everything from base to lid is mixed again nicely.

The white areas that form on the top of your Oat Butter can be caused by temperature fluctuations and the fats used. As we do not use any additives at Naturally Pam, no emulsifiers are used in the Oat Butter. This can cause the phases to separate and fat to form on top. At colder temperatures, parts of this oil solidify and take on their white color. This is a natural process. By heating gently and stirring briefly, you will regain the typical Cookie-licious consistency.

As with all my products, I wanted to find the best possible packaging solution for my butter. The used Blueseal lid has a PVC-free seal without any plasticizers, which can become very harmful for you, especially in fatty products like a Oat or Nut Butter. When you have enjoyed the last of your butter jar, you can easily recycle it in the bottle bank for white glass. Please unscrew the lid first and dispose of it separately in your "Gelber Sack" (yellow bag). This is the only way to ensure that all parts of the packaging can be optimally recycled by the disposal system. For information on other countries, it is best to contact your local authorities.
